A few days ago I got a lovely surprise. For almost 8 weeks I have been flat-out with work and a short trip overseas for my girlfriend’s cousin’s wedding. During that time I’ve been sweating about ignoring the Pontiac, and how Brendan and I would tackle that roof rust I posted up recently.
This past weekend Brendan sent me the following pics as he bent up fresh metal to replace the thoroughly chewed-out original metal, and got it welded in.
He actually welded the gutter in before stitching the two roof sections together along the body line, grinding the weld down to provide the same lip as factory.
